Le refuge est aussi une maison de retraite pour les CHATS séniors, malades, handicapés, ceux dont personne ne veut et qui trouvent enfin attention et affection.
Le leit motiv est STERILISATION/IDENTIFICATION : les chats errants sont stérilisés: identifiés deviennent ainsi des chats libres auxquels le CAPPA fournit la nourriture et le suivi.
Depuis sa création en 2002 le CAPPA a également sauvé plus de 500 chiens en détresse grâce à des familles d'accueil bénévoles.
Le CAPPA est une association militante pour le bien être animal quel qu'il soit.
