Réguler et protéger la population de chats errants, principalement sur le secteur de Merdrignac, par la stérilisation et l'identification ainsi que du retrait des chatons.
Leur identification leur permettra de passer du statut "chat errant" à celui de "chat libre".
Les adultes apprivoisés, en danger, et les chatons recueillis, dont le propriétaire n'a pas été retrouvé, seront mis à l'adoption.
