Adoptify is a charitable endowment fund, a non-profit organisation, whose team operates entirely on a volunteer basis. However, it is important to note that we have unavoidable operating expenses to ensure the continuity of our mission.
We are committed to managing these costs responsibly and keeping them as low as possible. We understand the importance of maximizing the impact of each donation and dedicating the majority of funds raised to animal protection charities.
Technical Expenses
Maintaining an online platform like Adoptify requires high-performance servers to ensure the smooth operation of our website and services. These servers require regular maintenance, updates, and security measures to protect the data and privacy of our users.
Additionally, processing online payments incurs fixed fees per transaction and variable fees based on the amounts collected.
Combining server and payment costs, each donation costs us between 1.5% and 4% of the donated amount.
How You Can Help
During your donation, you have the option to contribute to these expenses. Your contribution is also eligible for a 66% tax deduction.
Communication Expenses
Our communication expenses are essential for two main reasons. Firstly, we want to inform small charities about the existence of our platform dedicated to helping them obtain the necessary financial resources to fulfill their mission.
Secondly, through our communication efforts, we aim to attract as many donors as possible to our platform. We want to raise awareness about the animal cause and encourage support for these charities that do important work to help animals in need. By bringing more donors to our platform, we can multiply our impact and enable a greater number of charities to receive the financial support they so desperately need.

Regular Financial Monitoring
We place special emphasis on transparency and financial accountability by seeking the assistance of accounting experts to help us manage our finances efficiently. Their expertise enables us to keep accurate records, meet legal obligations, and produce financial statements that demonstrate the responsible use of funds.

The founders have already donated the necessary amount for this monitoring. We do not need assistance with this expense at the moment.
Audit by an Auditor
To ensure donor trust, we are committed to maintaining transparent and responsible financial management. This includes appointing an independent auditor to verify our financial activities once a year. This measure ensures our integrity and proper utilization of resources.
We started our operations in 2023, and the first financial statement certified by an auditor will be available after the completion of our first fiscal year ending on March 31, 2024.
